What I Do

My practice is part of a larger group practice called Northern Virginia Psychiatric Group (NOVA PSY), where I have been practicing full-time since 1999.   I see individuals 13 years old or older, families, and couples.  I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1997.  To learn more about me, please come look at the rest of the site!

"Store Hours"

I work Monday through Friday, during the day time and in the evening.  Appointments are on a first-come first-served basis.  Evening time slots are most popular and therefore least available.  I ask that new patients call me or e-mail with the following information:

• your name
• times that you are available to come in
• your insurance information if you plan to use insurance

What's New?

The main thing that is new right now is this website!  In this space I will list recent trainings I have gone to, my reading list and websites that also are useful.  

In the "growth and development" department: recently I attended the Psychotherapy Networker Conference in Washington, DC.  I heard a wonderful speaker, Lisa Ferentz, LCSW speak on Trauma.  The conference has a reputation for being one of the best in the country, and I was not disappointed!
